About us
Main Event Poker are organising a Texas Hold’em poker tournament every month in a major venue.  Due to changes in the law, the limits to the amount a player can spend and win in a game of poker has been capped in Pubs and Clubs. In pubs, there is a maximum buy in of £5 per player, per game and the maximum payout in a pub is £100 per day. In Private clubs, there is a maximum buy in of £10 per player, per game and the maximum payout in a club is £250 per day.

Main Event Poker has designed a tournament format that will give your customers not only the chance to play for MASSIVE CASH PRIZES but also the opportunity to play against the BIG names in poker on TV. The ideal scenario is to give the players an attractive incentive to play in your venue and at the same time for your business to grow. Our nights are designed to last one night (other options available) which means every night is a fresh start, which enables your business to grow week by week by attracting new players. For more info on the set up and structures, please go to How to Run. Your players can qualify by playing organised games with buy ins from as little as £2. Players who qualify will play in our monthly Main Event. The winner of each Main Event will also win a seat to play on one of the late night poker shows. There will be a seat for the winner each month.
